Most organizations don’t adopt cybersecurity as a single project: they add web filtering first, then Zero Trust access, often on different timelines and sometimes from different vendors. What ties our products together isn’t just packaging, it’s the same default-deny logic underneath: web and cloud traffic is checked against a continuously maintained European classification database, and anything unverified is blocked automatically rather than let through until proven malicious. That’s what SSE applies to browsing and SaaS use, and what Universal ZTNA applies to remote access. SASE brings both together with SD-WAN connectivity, so security and routing run as one architecture instead of two.
They serve different needs rather than being interchangeable. SSE and Universal ZTNA are the individual building blocks, web and cloud security, and Zero Trust remote access; SASE combines those with SD-WAN into a single converged architecture; SD-WAN itself is part of our Enterprise Networking range and can be adopted with or without the security layer; and Filtering Database for OEM is a white-label component for software vendors and network OEMs, not an end-user product.
Yes, our range is designed to be fully modular. Most organizations secure their access in stages, web filtering first, then Zero Trust remote access, expanding coverage as priorities evolve. Each product delivers value and protection on its own, and they’re designed to work together and converge into our SASE architecture whenever you’re ready. You move at your own pace, with no forced rip-and-replace.
No. Our security products are hardware-agnostic and layer directly onto your existing infrastructure, through a lightweight agent, an agentless web portal, or a cloud gateway, deployed as SaaS or on-premise. That said, pairing our cybersecurity with our Enterprise Networking routers adds real synergy: routing and security policies run on the same access device, simplifying administration and cutting hardware costs at each site.
Cybersecurity covers how your users, traffic, and applications are protected. If you also need to connect and manage traffic at individual branches or offices, that’s covered by our Enterprise Networking products. If you’re interconnecting data centers over high-capacity optical links, that’s covered by our Optical Networking products. Many customers combine Cybersecurity with Enterprise Networking, since security policy and SD-WAN often run on the same device.
